Welcome to Precision Rimfire

Precision rimfire shooting has exploded in popularity across North America and internationally. Organizations like the Precision Rifle Series and NRL22 are expanding globally, and Canada now has national level pathways for top shooters to compete on the world stage.

Here on Vancouver Island, you have direct access to that ecosystem through local matches, training, and a rapidly growing community of shooters.

What is Precision Rimfire?

This is not static target shooting. Precision rimfire is about engaging steel targets from real-world positions using barricades, props, and timed stages.

  • Dynamic shooting positions
  • Steel targets at varying distances
  • Time pressure and stage strategy
  • Constant skill progression

At the entry level, your biggest competition is your previous score.
